REPOST: Goals For January and December

Image
Well , December is almost over  and everyone will soon be making those resolutions. I honestly dont believe in making them anymore. What the best possible thing to do is making short goals to meet rather than something you will dump and avoid weeks later. Though there is somewhat of the month left , I thought I would make short term goals before the month. I want to keep these goals short and then as well I want to make a long term goals . That need to be attainable. As always I guess you can say as well I am not the best at making my goals and living through them. But hey no one is perfect nor do they always meet their goals. I have several goals in mind but I am going to try to meet them. I guess you can say I will have several thoughts or rather subjects in mind. Short term Goals For December: Getting my Study Ready and my Recipes For Daniel Fasting.  Cleaning and getting rid of Clutter in my Apartment    Emailing and talking to companies to sponsor/review Short Term Go

I love reviewing makeup! Anyways Maybelline is coming out with this new mascara and let me tell you , I loved the way that it worked with my eyes. You know how everyone comments and asks what is your favorite feature? I love my eyes. I believe that they are windows to the soul and you can tell someone who they are by looking at their eyes. This voxbox came with a full size sample of the big shot mascara along with eyeliner! which also as well I adore its one of my core favorites that I now use . Both working together are awesome and great products! They held up all day throughout work and running errands! I always love Maybelline , and even covergirl they are my two favorites. Anything that can hold up to my rough life of running around is a plus in my book. What you see pictured is my look

Sole patches : Relief From Your Feet ! Thoughts and reviews

Image
( I was given a sample as compensation for a review and the thoughts on this product ) These are so cool! I got these to test and review . Have you ever wore heels? delt with the uncomfortable worn out balls of your feet after a few hours? I know I have had that uncomfortable feeling time after time. Same reason I dont own a lot of heels I usually tend to stick to those shoes that are more comfortable and have less of a heel. Those are a lot more comfortable! and so much better to wear! But if you still insist on wearing heels I do have the solution for you! Sole Patches are these cute flower "pedals" that you can place on your uncomfortable areas of your feet and being able to handle your shoes a whole lot better! You can place on your feet troubled areas for a more temporary thing. Or you can permanently attach them to shoes. They can be placed where they are need to make those beloved heels feel so much better than they usually are. Have you ever heard that fashion is

When Jesus was a Green Eyed Brunette Review And Giveaway

Image
So Again Folks I am bringing you another wonderful review!  This lovely devotional/life book is an interesting one. I started reading it a few days ago, As a christian we are told that Love is something that should not be given freely. But with that being said, we need to love like Jesus did and like God does. Another sermon I recall from our youth group that I help with we need to have this kind of love that is not judgmental towards others even if we do not know them or not. In the beginning the author explains a bit of the inspiration of this book. Which I can admit , I have been guilty of coming to conclusions. As the book goes on , he begans to explain his life. How a beautiful angel like girl with green eyes helped him understand God and his faithfulness. I read some more of this wonderful book last night and it touches base with God's Faithfulness to reward those who honor and follow him.  This book as I read it every single night , and write after-thought notes I beg

Living Life in a Blogging World.

Image
As I plan more posts for the coming weeks , and trying to work on my real life. I just thought I would give you a look inside what life is like for a blogger. I started blogging a few years ago when I found a love for writing I went into writing my own books. To thinking I can write about other things that I can relate or like. So I started with small reviews and public PR websites think influenster , or crowdtap etc. Then I went to higher traffic sites such as tomoson, brandbacker etc. My ex use to wonder and love getting all the new goodies in , While I put in the work with networking. But honestly its a whole lot of work , there was a huge amazon review base until they shut that down . And I have to admit I was apart of that, for awhile and now I am fully working on my blog. So apart from trying to juggle my volunteer work with various clubs and church. My school work , and there is plenty of that to go around, Then there is blogging I mostly have to sit down with or at any computer

Image
A divorced father and his ex-con older brother resort to a desperate scheme in order to save their family's ranch in West Texas. rated R from imdb.com Again I am here bringing you a DVD spotlight , this time I am bringing you a movie that is near and dear to my heart <3 We actually had this movie film in Our area the scenes that you see. I see almost everyday when I go to school or go to work . So this movie was a must see for our family , though I need to admit right now this is not a family movie! In most cases I would not let siblings watch such a movie. But we are a movie loving family and we thought it would be something to see sights we see almost every single day. Now back to the movie, This is an awesome movie, everything is so well done. Our beautiful new mexico landscape and the people. Though it is based in Texas you are actually looking at New Mexico , which in most ways is funny within itself. But I digress , The characters are so well rounded and have their ow

Moana Movie Review and Thoughts!

"In Ancient Polynesia, when a terrible curse incurred by Maui reaches an impetuous Chieftain's daughter's island, she answers the Ocean's call to seek out the demigod to set things right rated PG. from.Imdb.com " So again , I am bringing you another wonderful review this time . So thanksgiving break came and went , and I was blessed to spend the time with my mother since she was released from the hospital. So we decided to Christmas shop and catch a movie while we were free from kids. Which was simple and one of the movies I have seen without my brothers. Anyways back to my review.  Moana , is one of the more diverse princesses who claims she is not a princess. She dreams of rowing beyond the shore and seeing what else is out there and she actually tries once and fails miserably. But she is always drawn to the water wanting to venture. When her world is threatened and some pushing from her grandma she soon leaves her home to track down the demi God Maui. W

Image
( I was given a dress as compensation for this review and for my honest thoughts )  Eshakti is a wonderful company that does not get a lot of credit like it should. I was given a sample a dress made to my specifications and something that would fit my body size. And any of these dresses would and can be fit to almost anybody shape and the length is fitted as well. Just in time for the Holiday season , when everyone is looking for that one special dress for the holiday party of the season. Charlie The Tramp : Children's book Review and Giveaway!

Image
I received a copy of this book for promotional reasons and my honest and unbiased review these thoughts are my own. Charlie the Beaver wants to be a tramp  when he grows up. “Tramps don’t have to learn how to chop down trees and how to roll logs and how to build dams. Tramps just tramp around and have a good time. Tramps carry sticks with little bundles tied to them. They sleep in a field when the weather is nice, and when it rains they sleep in a barn.” Charlie sets off with his bundle. But when he hears water trickling, he can’t get to sleep. Will he be able to resist the urge to make it stop? As Grandfather Beaver says, “You never know when a tramp will turn out to be a beaver.” Winner of the Boys Club of America Junior Book Award, 1968 From: amazon.com This is a timeless and beautiful Kids book , that I highly recommend . As I child I loved reading anything and everything I could and would get my hands on that would interest me . I was very smart in my reading skills and t

Your Hopes For Your Blog:

Image
Another break , from my Usual Reviews, think of it as a random post but at the same time. Think of it as someway to get to know me. I started this blog as a way to connect and to expand my writing at the same time. I watched and saw others on social media who seemed to enjoy what they were doing. And I thought it looked like fun. Well for me honestly it is fun , I get to expand my writing . So ok here goes , I have two blogs one is reviews and thoughts on life. When the other is more life and thoughts and faith. I have big dreams for either , I want to reach others with my personal blog which can be found here. http://crazylovelybeautifullife21.blogspot.com/ But this Review blog , I see so many that are given trips and given chances to do . Really cool media stuff but these bloggers have followers in the millions and that is something. They get products in the mail voluntarily and most can make a stable income in their pj's . Isnt that something? I honestly just wish someday it

Pure Clay Masks: by Loreal Review

Image
I was chosen by bzz agent to try  new pure clay masks from the brand L'Oreal. There are several choices and they each have their own formulas  to help with your skin. One which is a greenish color which helps to Purify and Mattify  it comes with 3 pure clay and eucalyptus. That was the first one that I have tried and that one really was a favorite of mine.  My face felt cooled and was soft that truly made a difference. Then the black colored clay is to Detox and Brighten and pictured with me sorry for my dazed look. This one as well has 3 pure clay's and charcoal, which is different from the green colored facial mask. Now the last one , which is a reddish color and the only mask that I have not tried helps with refining pores and exfoliates the skin. Either way I have had a good experience with all the masks that I have had. Taking care of your skin is something that is worthwhile and something that you need to do. I have always had a good experience with any products that I

REPOST : Day 10 Blogging Challenge Best Trip You have ever taken.

Image
Please enjoy a repost today from my personal/Lifestyle blog : Day 10: The best trip you have ever taken.  So , I have been to a few places I have been to mexico twice both on missions. I have been to California for a Youth meeting of sorts. I have been to Florida twice , once on missions and youth meeting at the same time. The other time was for an actual vacation with my best friend , even though I would count my missions trips as vacations to me in most words. I have been to Texas countless times for youth rallies and church stuff and then for an actual vacation and seeing family. So I have traveled , I mainly do missions because that is apart of my heart. Is spreading the word of God to those who may not know it or honestly to bring comfort to those who need it.  I think my best ever trip is a combination of mission trips that I have taken , even though I can admit. Going on vacation for yourself is fun , it doesn't leave the same impression that missions can have. My l

Can love, strength, and faith redefine his past and change the course of his future? This unlikely hero risks it all to save these women, confront the forces that oppose him and ultimately discover the life he was meant to live. Day 7 Five Favorite Songs: Honestly , this is another hard question for me when it comes down to it. I love music , Though I mostly stay away from "secular" music . Pardon my terms , I do still listen to my favorites I cannot completely abandon those and then I do have new favorites. First I love anything From For king and country and I was blessed to see them perform about two weeks ago. I love taylor swift and yes I am a swiftie , the current songs on repeat from her are out of the woods , back to december , and all too well. As you can somewhat tell my ex has been on my mind and it doesnt help that what would have been five or four years.. I rather not keep count . We would have been together , we were together for 3 years and were on the road to getting married... but I digress. I love Little Big Towns new single better man. Which also brings light to my feelings around this time , also figures why I seem to dream about him this time. From my christian roots , I l

This week in Review ...

Image
So as this week comes to a close , I often reflect on the week and the many challenges that I have had to face. Funny enough usual top two are , my lack of sleep ( I am a college student) and not enough time to do everything that I need to do. Which in turn , leaves a lot of projects in my apartment not done.. aka my dishes in my sink. Or half done .. I owe my math teacher two lessons before the 18th. And I owe another teacher a quiz and a homework assignment. I am planning Christmas outreach projects such as operation Christmas child, and a local one which gives gifts to local kids from the children's  home. While thinking of other missions and on the look out for my annual shopping for charity event. I am planning my weekend as we speak , DVD watching time with the family as well maybe a trip to the movie theater near by. And yes working on homework and starting on a term paper and maybe getting to try out some products! Check for those posts soon. I try to think of fun p

Food ... IN A CUP! Favorites and trials

Image
Today I am going to talk about , Food in a cup! These are like the college students bread and butter when it comes to Dorm Living. Because though some universities may offer a kitchen you cannot cook it all. I have well now use to have a negativity about these because they always seemed to taste different than stuff I can cook at home. And now that there is a need and a want for items that are fast and quick to make , more companies come out with items. And then pintrest is full and I mean FULL of recipes of items you can make in a mug. And those I want to tell you , do those with a side of caution... My mother and me made some in mugs and the directions gave you a whole lot of cake.. Anyways I am going to cover my top TWO favorites , since I am a very picky eater when it comes down to it. So my top two must have right now are... The Quaker oatmeal bowls and Rice a Roni rice bowls these are so rich in flavor and so simple to make! I can simply talk about how good they are but why d

Day of the Dead , It is not just a Halloween Costume

Image
Halloween was yesterday, and with that came a lot of costumes. So many different costumes that people wore and had fun with. When I write this post I want people to be informed, and to let them know. I am not here to bash anyone , for wearing a day of the dead costume. I just want people to know the historical thought behind it. Its been a recent trend , for stores to group both holiday's day of the dead. And Halloween together , their decorations are on the same shelf's and somehow people think of them as the same thing.  Day of the Dead or rather  El Dia de los Muertos ,  is a special Holiday that is celebrated after Halloween on November 1st. The day after  Halloween  , this  originated from tradition in mexico to celebrate and be with loved ones that have passed on. Celebrate their time on earth , This is usually celebrated with food , and drinks and parades . And alters that are usually made up at a families home to celebrate those who have passed on. They usually start

Say and Pray Devotions : Review and Giveaway !

Image
I got this wonderful , boardbook to review from FlyBy promotions first of all this book is so cute! bright pictures. And wonderful art to help your child understand the world as they grow up. Each page has items labled . In order to help your child learn and grow as you read or they read. I love the fact this a durable board book. So it is tough for the younger crowd they wont tear it up as much I understand those who have a hard time keeping books together with the younger kids. This is a wonderful gift for younger kids such as 3 and down . I would even consider giving this as a baby shower gift . To those who are having childeren but not quite there yet. Though I have siblings that are not really toddlers anymore. I know how it is to have a smaller child in the house and how sometimes they love to chew while they are teething and want to taste everything . So board books are awesome when you need something to read but also need for it to be tough. Apart from givng you my thought

Pley Toy Rental

Image
What can I say honestly about this company , This company offers a wide range of toys that you are able to "rent" for a fee each month. The cheapest "fee" that they charge is $14.13 each month to have one toy out . A clear warning to those who do rent , this is an on going service , think of it as redbox for toys. This is how it works you make a list of toys that your child wants to play with , then you choose your plan You either have novice option , 12.99 a month which I am not sure why im being charged $14.13 a month on wait... shipping. Or wizard which is $29.99 a month with shipping as well. You receive 3 credits , and you get a wider range of toys that you are able to choose from. This seems to be %25 percent off. You are also able to provide a gift card or an option to pay for a loved one to receive the toy service. I dont want you to feel as if I hate this service they have been very professional to me and nice. I just cant afford a service like this on a

14 gospel Principles for Parenting Review And Giveaway!

Image
"What is your calling as a parent? In the midst of folding laundry, coordinating carpool schedules, and breaking up fights, many parents get lost. Feeling pressure to do everything “right” and raise up “good” children, it’s easy to lose sight of our ultimate purpose as parents in the quest for practical tips and guaranteed formulas. In this life-giving book, Paul Tripp offers parents much more than a to-do list. Instead, he presents us with a big-picture view of God’s plan for us as parents. Outlining fourteen foundational principles centered on the gospel, he shows that we need more than the latest parenting strategy or list of techniques. Rather, we need the rescuing grace of God—grace that has the power to shape how we view everything we do as parents. Freed from the burden of trying to manufacture life-change in our children’s hearts, we can embrace a grand perspective of parenting overflowing with vision, purpose, and joy." As a foundation in many parts of

Hillsong : Let Hope Rise Movie Review

Image
"A documentary on the Australia-based band Hillsong and their rise to prominence as an international church." From imdb.com As many people know , I am christian so when I saw that Hillsong was coming out . One of the most influential bands of our time. In the christian music world , as you watch this documentary you find out these humble beginnings of each band member. And the band itself, and the start of this mega church success.     Well , I took my little brother when we were out of town  since our theatre does not have this specific movie. We were the only ones in the movie theatre , which wasn't surprising a lot of faith based movies. Bring crowds but only during specific times, so we were the only ones in the movie theatre. But that isn't the point , right when the movie started. They played a message on screen , " please think of this like a concert , and a worship experience. Feel free to sing along with the songs." Which was a new thing
