 This bible is one of these things , that almost every child should get . Being Christian you have several bibles within your lifetime , you have your baby bible , your kid bible , your teen bible , and then your adult bible. As many can assume , I have several examples of each including that one year that a teen magazine was a bible. Which I wasn't sure the reasoning behind that . When thinking about the age group for this bible I would think elementary age . But within this thinking , I help out with my churches Sunday morning nursery . Our nursery consists of donated toys books and other various items. I do my best , to teach the young ones with use of the bible. But most of the kids that I care for are 3 and under within this I try my best to get them to understand. I have been reading a bible to them when I can get their attention and lately what makes me smile . They have been bringing me the bible so I can read. When I was younger I loved going to bed , and my mother would read me stories. Sometimes from the bible and some time from books that I had gotten from the library. We would cuddle up in my bed and she would read. This was a tradition in our household , and if I am not mistaken , I was read to from this very bible. So this has a special place in my heart. The stories are put in a very short and clear and easy to understand for readers that are starting to read. The bible is of course hardcover . With the usual paper pages so I would not usually recommend this to younger kids. These are usually more geared towards the kindergarten age and above.
