14 gospel Principles for Parenting Review And Giveaway!
"What is your calling as a parent?
In the midst of folding laundry, coordinating carpool schedules, and breaking up fights, many parents get lost. Feeling pressure to do everything “right” and raise up “good” children, it’s easy to lose sight of our ultimate purpose as parents in the quest for practical tips and guaranteed formulas.
In this life-giving book, Paul Tripp offers parents much more than a to-do list. Instead, he presents us with a big-picture view of God’s plan for us as parents. Outlining fourteen foundational principles centered on the gospel, he shows that we need more than the latest parenting strategy or list of techniques. Rather, we need the rescuing grace of God—grace that has the power to shape how we view everything we do as parents.
Freed from the burden of trying to manufacture life-change in our children’s hearts, we can embrace a grand perspective of parenting overflowing with vision, purpose, and joy."
As a foundation in many parts of life , parenting is something that does not come easy sometimes. Though I am not a parent , I did give my copy for review to my mother who would know more about parenting than I do. Though growing up with a single mother , I became sort of a mother myself to two wonderful boys. Me and my mother , shared the duties while my brothers grew up. I helped and now really proud of my brothers. This book is simple with the fact that , instead of a how-to-book you get easy and simple principles . That will help you , when it comes down to it with parenting. Though I cannot give a better in dept review which I wish I could . The reviews that I have seen have been better in dept reviews. More I look into it , this book seems good in its own right.
I wish I could give a better review , but I cannot at the time.
But I am giving one lucky reader a chance to win a copy and learn for themselves!
