The Hunger Games: Mockingjay part 1 Movie Review and Thoughts !

When Katniss destroys the games, she goes to District 13 after District 12 is destroyed. She meets President Coin who convinces her to be the symbol of rebellion, while trying to save Peeta from the Capitol.(from Imdb.com)

Once Again , The people of the Hunger Games do it again . Making a wildly successful movie to go with the series of books. This time the last book in the series , Mockingjay was split into two parts and they have released part 1. I took my movie buddy once more , he paid for the tab I bought the snacks . Funny enough my boyfriend loves these movies as well , I did not know this or he would have joined our little party as well. I myself have read all the books and own all the movies up to the current one out in theaters. 
This movie takes place after Catching Fire , right after Katniss wakes up to find herself in another world. As I am someone who does not give much of the movie away, I will only spare some details since this is still in theaters. President Snow still is a threat as the games are over and Peta is taken Hostage and a weapon against Katniss and the growing movement against the capital , aka the government. This movie is packed with action, and has bits of humor in it to make the perfect date movie. Or a movie to take those who love book movies even though they may not love the fact that certain details are Done to make the movie better. 
Something that certainly sticks with you is the song that Katniss sings , Haunting but yet beautiful. You can catch it on the soundtrack. Here some  the lyrics though ,

Either way this movie is a wonderful Adaption to the book series and one of those movies you just have to see! I was hanging by a thread , because it kept you guessing over and over! I cannot wait to see what is offered when this is released on dvd and blue-ray .
