Faithbox: Monthly Subscription Box Review

( I was given this sample subscription box  from Family christian and Faithbox ,  for my honest review and thoughts these words are my own)
This is one of those things , That I had jumped at wanting to review and I was not disappointed.
Faithbox is a monthly subscription box , now these days there are so many kinds of boxes you just have to chose what is your Favorite. This is one of my Favorites and I am hoping for gift myself a years worth. These products not only are made well , they hold a lot of meaning to them. I was given the Aug,2016 box for me to look at and enjoy everything inside.

When you first open the box you are given an impact guide , this will tell you what each product is and what exactly it is meant for.  They mostly items that deal and help with the overall theme of the box. Which revolved around the book uninvited.

First there are these wonderful cards, called thoughtful cards. For you to reach out to someone special . To take time and let someone know that you are thinking about them and love them or just to say hello. These are beautiful and wonderfully made. And trust me I will be using them.

This is a chocolate espresso shot , from what I gathered. With each purchase and shipment of this small bottle. You are providing a child , overseas receive a polio shot that could potentially save their life.  I have not tried it , its actually sitting in my fridge. lol I am actually a bit scared to try it . But I will try it in the meanwhile. Another product that is included in the box is a needle and thread and it is called the stitch. This is a way to speak your silence, this was made with the purpose you support those you love child or adult that has dealt with sexual abuse or rape in their past. By showing this symbol and sewing on a piece of clothing. The stitches founder helps bring counseling to every part of the united states. For those who have that sort of traumatic experience.
Then there is a another book which is a small devotional to help bring the overall goal and thoughts of the book featured this month. You are given questions and answers and reading to overall help you while you are reading.
Then you also receive the book , Uninvited
The enemy wants us to feel rejected . . . left out, lonely, and less than.
In Uninvited, Lysa shares her own deeply personal experiences of rejection--from the perceived judgment of the perfectly toned woman one elliptical over to the incredibly painful childhood abandonment by her father. She leans in to honestly examine the roots of rejection, as well as rejection's ability to poison relationships from the inside out, including our relationship with God.
With biblical depth, gut-honest vulnerability, and refreshing wit, Lysa will help you:

  • Stop feeling left out by believing that even when you are overlooked by others you are handpicked by God.
  • Change your tendency to either fall apart or control the actions of others by embracing God-honoring ways to process your hurt.
  • Know exactly what to pray for the next ten days to steady your soul and restore your confidence in the midst of rejection.
  • Overcome the two core fears that feed your insecurities by understanding the secret of belonging. Uninvited reminds us we are destined for a love that can never be diminished, tarnished, shaken, or taken--a love that does not reject or uninvite. From : amazon.com
I have started reading this book but yet haven't finished it yet. I saw the preorder for this book when it was barely coming out and I knew I had to have it. I deal with this on a day to day basis. And I do struggle with it even more now. I tend to read to help me understand , and to help me cope. I recently in the last two years have dealt with a serious relationship ending. And to tell you the truth it hurts.. anything that I had felt I had come to terms with comes up. This book is so helpful because I can relate to the authors point of view when it comes to her life. And when it comes to understanding what I am going through and what I want to over come. I actually have a copy of this book so I was able to bless a friend with a copy of their own. I thought it was funny , and a sort of a sign that I really should keep reading this book.

Overall I love Faithbox and it is one of those things that I would gift to myself or a friend. It not only is helpful in your own spiritual walk , it helps others!
There are several plans , a month to month basis. Or a 3 month basis or a years worth of Faithbox. With every subscription you are feeding 3 orphans.
